Troy was diagnosed midway through our football season with Ewing’s Sarcoma. It is an aggressive form of bone cancer. While this ended his football season, Troy continued to attend practices and cheer on his teammates. He was instrumental in our conference championship and 2nd round playoff appearance. He has been an inspiration to his teammates and coaches. Most kids could complain with this diagnosis, but Troy has attacked the illness like the true competitor he is. He will be enduring 9 months of intense chemotherapy to help treat the disease.
